In response to current circumstances regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, Hotel Berlin Central District has implemented a variety of protocols and elevated practices, keeping with high standards of cleanliness and services in line with the Marriott’s commitment to clean.
Marriott’s commitment to clean
In public spaces, the company has added to its already strict cleaning protocols, matching with the Marriott Cleanliness Council, that surfaces are treated with hospital-grade disinfectants and cleaning is done with increased frequency particularly in areas with high traffic including restrooms and elevators. To help alleviate the risk of COVID-19 transmission, Marriott also focuses on an appropriate signage to remind guests of updated and legal protocols. All the employees are provided with personal protective equipment. Hand sanitizing stations are also located near the entrances, front desks, elevator banks and meeting spaces. Regarding the banqueting and catering aspect, food handlers and supervisors are trained on safe food preparation and service practices. Food safety standards as guideline are used as well as hygiene and disinfecting practices.
